Thompson Mitchell Solicitors are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solicitor with a minimum of seven years’ post‑qualification experience (PQE) in probate, estate planning, and both residential and commercial conveyancing to join our well‑established and expanding practice in Portadown. Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of probate, estate administration, and conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.
* Providing high‑quality legal advice to clients in a professional and empathetic manner.
* Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring a client‑centred service approach.
* Supervising team members as appropriate and contributing to the continued success of the practice.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE in conveyancing and probate.
* Demonstrable technical expertise and a commercially pragmatic approach.
* Proven ability to manage files independently and efficiently.
* Experience using case management systems (Insight Legal experience preferred).
* A STEP qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
* Experience in additional practice areas (e.g., litigation, family law, corporate and commercial) will be viewed favourably.
