Students receive tailored support to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. About the Role We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team. In this role, you will provide vital support to pupils with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum, develop key skills, and reach their potential. Your work will have a direct impact on students’ progress and confidence. Responsibilities Support pupils with SEN across academic, behavioural, and social development. Assist with lesson delivery, ensuring tasks are differentiated to meet individual learning needs. Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour. Provide personal care support where required. Conduct observations to inform lesson planning and collaborate with teachers and the SENCO. Contribute to creating an inclusive classroom environment. Qualifications Previous experience supporting children with SEN, preferably in a school setting. Strong understanding of behaviour management and differentiation techniques. Ability to adapt lessons and learning resources to individual needs. Awareness of safeguarding procedures and commitment to child protection.
