Where will you be working?
Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

What will you be doing?
Assisting with excavation works, including digging trenches and preparing ground for construction activities
Supporting the installation of ducts, cable routes and foundations for substations and associated infrastructure
Laying concrete, backfilling trenches and reinstating ground surfaces to required standards
Operating hand tools and small plant equipment under supervision Setting out work areas, marking levels and ensuring accurate measurements
Supporting civil construction tasks such as shuttering, formwork and basic brickwork
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment in line with safety procedures
Working alongside experienced groundworkers, civil teams and electrical colleagues to learn all aspects of substation construction
Following instructions, safety briefings and method statements to ensure safe working practices
What you'll bring;
Driving Licence: Full licence and own car required
GCSEs in Maths and English (grades A-F or 2-9)
Age: Must be 18+
Location: Must live within the application area
You must be able to obtain a full airside pass
