Role and Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging, student-centered learning programmes
* Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support achievement and progression
* Undertake administrative duties including preparation, marking, and record-keeping
* Support student welfare, discipline, and academic development
* Contribute to course organisation, including work placements and curriculum delivery
* Lead designated courses, including structure, delivery, and assessment planning
* Manage course documentation, quality processes, and team coordination
* Oversee assessment standards, compliance with awarding bodies, and student records
* Monitor course performance and implement improvements
* Support curriculum planning, review, and continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with college policies and quality frameworks
* Maintain accurate data on attendance, progress, and outcomes
* Liaise with employers, schools, parents, and external partners
* Support recruitment activities such as open evenings and admissions
* Contribute to marketing and promotion of courses
* Maintain up-to-date subject and teaching expertise
* Participate in appraisals, training, and teaching observations
* Contribute to wider college activities and initiatives

* Ensure that the college develops and maintains a constructive relationship with appropriate external stakeholders relevant to the postholder’s areas of responsibility.
