Role: National Account Manager - Specialist/Reactive Cleaning Services
Salary: £40k plus benefits, plus up to £3k bonus per quarter dependent on meeting KPIs

Role Description:
Our client, a reactive and specialist services provider, is looking to appoint a National Account Manager to join their team at an exciting time of growth. As National Account Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering the company's growth strategy and stability with existing customers, maximising revenue opportunities, and creating long-term sustainable relationships. The ideal candidate will have good industry knowledge in the specialist and/or cleaning sectors, with strong commercial awareness and relevant B2B experience. This is an exciting role with a company committed to delivering the best results for their customers, always on hand to support and provide the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
* Generate sales among existing client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities
* Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers
* Forecast and track client account revenues
* Work with Project Managers to deliver projects within client relationships
* Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients
* Service multiple clients concurrently
* Negotiate term agreements including price increases (annual and additional works)
* Build a strong, in-depth product knowledge and company systems
* Achieve and exceed monthly client revenue targets based on budgets and forecasts
* Work closely with Internal Account Manager to deliver outstanding customer experiences
* Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to determine appropriate operations and service delivery
* Educate clients to understand the features and benefits of products and services
* Survey work requirements on site and collaborate with operations and technical teams to deliver quotes and proposals
* Track all sales activity and ensure quotations are aligned with pricing procedures
* Ensure all new sales information is accurately captured on the CRM system
* Produce weekly/monthly client activity reports
* Develop strong working relationships with the Operations team, Projects, and Helpdesk to meet customer requirements
* Ensure debt profiles are managed consistently and chased accordingly
* Coordinate mobilisation meetings for new account-managed customers
* Provide visibility of the sales pipeline highlighting conversion probabilities
* Implement process improvements to drive revenue outcomes
* Identify risks such as debt or credit management issues
* Attend and hold regular reviews with clients across the UK
Requirements:
* B2B experience in a highly reactive commercial environment
* Strong negotiating and influencing skills at all levels
* Proven track record of achieving targets
* Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
* Strong IT skills, especially in CRM tools and sales data analysis
* Commercial awareness around pricing to ensure margins
* Excellent client relationship skills
* Empathetic approach to operational challenges
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High-level interpersonal skills and networking ability
* Ability to develop relationships across all management levels
