Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) of Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust for a passionate and highly motivated Care Coordinator (Band 6) from either a Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work background to join the team.
The EIP service in Nottinghamshire is delivered through a multidisciplinary team of practitioners who provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments for people aged 14-65 who are experiencing a First Episode Psychosis (FEP).
The EIP team is a community-based service which operates Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities
* Hold a caseload and practise an holistic and person-centred approach to individuals’ needs and goals, while supporting their families.
* Apply an understanding of the principles, ethos, assessments and interventions associated with working within an Early Intervention in Psychosis team.
* Contribute to the delivery of a high quality NICE concordant service, including Behavioural Family Therapy (BFT).
* Engage in additional training to develop evidence-based interventions (e.g., BFT, psychosocial and CBTp-informed approaches).
Qualifications
* Registration in one of the following backgrounds: Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work.
* Interest in working with the EIP client group and a desire to support families.
* Willingness to undertake training to deliver evidence-based interventions.
