Client Take-On Assistant
Based in Edinburgh – Hybrid working available after probation
Full-Time – Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Salary: £26,000 – £27,000 (DOE)
Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with a long standing who is looking to recruitment a Client Take-On Assistant to join their Risk and Compliance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in AML procedures and contribute to a well-established firm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the firm’s client onboarding procedures, ensuring compliance with AML regulations and supporting internal audits and reviews.
Duties involved in this role will include:
* Administering client take-on and onboarding processes
* Ensuring appropriate identification is held for all clients and relevant entities
* Monitoring compliance with AML policies and escalating high-risk cases
* Liaising with the Risk & Compliance Director and MLRO
* Using ID verification platforms and updating case management systems
* Responding to AML and client onboarding queries
* Assisting with audits of matter files to improve compliance and efficiency
* Supporting the development of AML procedures
Skills and experience required:
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn and develop AML knowledge
* Ability to build effective working relationships across departments
* Understanding of business and regulatory requirements
* Experience in a compliance or administrative role is advantageous
