Shop Fitter - Commercial Kitchen Installations - Field-Based Role - £35K DOE - Sheffield Are you a skilled and confident shop fitter with experience in commercial projects? The Opportunity: Our client, a well-established specialist in commercial kitchen installations, is seeking a multi-skilled shop fitter to join their growing team. This is a field-based role, working across sites in the Midlands and South of England, with travel paid from home and all project-related travel arranged in advance. As part of a highly experienced 5-person team, you'll be involved in complete commercial kitchen fit-outs for restaurants, catering facilities, food production environments, and more. The work is fast-paced, varied, and hands-on - ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in high standards, and can work across multiple trades to get the job done. What You'll Be Doing: Installing commercial kitchen units, cladding, extraction canopies, and general joinery Building bulkheads, suspended ceilings, and dry-lining partitions Performing tiling, flooring, and other finish work to a high standard Interpreting technical drawings and site layouts to carry out work efficiently Working collaboratively with a small, skilled team to meet project deadlines Ensuring site cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations Liaising with site managers and occasionally customers to confirm install specifications Travelling to project locations from home (expenses and travel time covered) Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Start times vary depending on site/project location Some overtime may be required and is paid at time and a half Field-based - travel paid from home What's in It for You? £35,000 per year (negotiable based on experience) Permanent, full-time position with immediate start available Overtime at time and a half if required Paid travel time and expenses Tools provided on site if needed (own tools preferred) Opportunity to work on diverse, high-spec projects Join a team of skilled professionals who take pride in their work Be part of a respected business with a strong pipeline of work What You'll Need to Succeed: Proven experience as a shop fitter, ideally within the commercial kitchen, hospitality, or retail fit-out industry Skilled in dry lining, suspended ceilings, bulkheads, tiling, and general joinery Confident working independently and as part of a team Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel Own hand tools preferred (tools provided if required) A strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude Able to read site plans and work accurately with minimal supervision Interested?
