Job Title: RE Teacher Location: Barnsley (S70, S71) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Foster understanding, respect, and curiosity through religious education. GSL Education are delighted to appoint a committed RE Teacher for schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley. As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that explore world religions, moral values, and critical thinking, encouraging pupils to reflect and discuss respectfully. Core Responsibilities: Plan and deliver RE lessons in line with the curriculum. Promote discussion, understanding, and respect for diverse beliefs. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Support wider school initiatives and assemblies related to RE. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
