Salary and hours
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you may work as few as 12 hours if desired.
Availability windows
We schedule your contracted hours within the following availability windows. You will receive 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We support flexibility: if your availability differs from the advertised times, we can still consider you.
* Monday: 11:45 to 20:00
* Tuesday: 09:30 to 13:30
* Wednesday: 08:15 to 13:30
* Saturday: 08:15 to 16:00
About the role

You’ll help customers with their medicines, provide vaccinations, review medication use, check blood pressure or test blood glucose levels, and support our community by offering the best healthcare choices.
Responsibilities
* Support the operation of one of our modern Pharmacies.
* Apply your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for customers.
* Dispense prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Treat customers with confidence, friendliness and professionalism, encouraging them to return.
* Provide appropriate information on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable products.
* Advise customers on available Pharmacy services.
* Deliver Pharmacy services and dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assess legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Handle clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners within competence.
* Respond to customer queries on prescription medicines and report complaints to Pharmacist.
* Maintain dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Keep dispensary and consulting rooms clean, tidy and clutter‑free.
* Ensure prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
* Promote company initiatives within the team.
* Carry out procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
* Complete corporate and departmental training.
* Keep up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
