Job Description
A global specialty insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its high-impact Change and Transformation team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic programmes and key transformation initiatives across technology, operations, and underwriting.
The Role:
You’ll manage complex cross-functional projects from initiation through to embedding into BAU. This includes detailed planning, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery. You’ll play a key role in refining delivery frameworks and championing best practice project governance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end delivery of strategic and mid-sized IT and change initiatives
* Own project plans, RAID logs, and stakeholder comms
* Develop and maintain business cases and change control processes
* Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business SMEs, and external vendors
* Engage with senior stakeholders to report progress, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and PM frameworks
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience a Project Manager in the London insurance industry
* Strong governance and documentation discipline
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and vendor management skills
* Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches
* Comfortable managing competing deadlines across concurrent workstreams
* Highly organised, solution-focused, and calm under pressure
