We are looking for a Child Psychotherapist to join our team in Buckinghamshire. Working closely with our Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will co-deliver supportive, evidence-based programmes for young autistic children and their families, including our flagship First Steps programme.

What are we looking for?
* An accredited Professional qualification in Child Psychotherapy -Trained child and adolescent psychotherapist or psychoanalytic psychotherapist or psychodynamic psychotherapist
* Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams
* Demonstrable experience of working with young autistic children and their families
* Understanding of safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation
* Understanding of data protection requirements and relevant legislation
* Understanding of confidentiality and in service provision and their limitations
What will you be doing?
* Assess separately and jointly with the Occupational Therapist the needs of the child and their families, using standardised tests and other assessment methods (e.g., observations, video-recordings and interview notes)
* Plan support required jointly with the Occupational Therapist
* Conduct home-visits to provide direct support to children and their families
* Writing reports for the family and organisation, as required
* Maintain assessment home-visit records in a systematic and organised way as required by the Charity in SharePoint.
* Participate in regular meeting with the Occupational Therapist and Child psychotherapist Team Leader
* Report any concerns to child psychotherapist Team Leader and provide suggestions and recommendations for action
