SPOT WELDER NEEDED IN CHESHIRE
Do you have previous spot welding experience and are you seeking a new permanent job role within the Cheshire area? If so, get in touch with me today as we are recruiting a Spot Welder on a permanent basis for an engineering business based in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Everyone will initially start on day shifts whilst training, but you will have the opportunity to move onto shifts once you've passed a probation period.
The working hours on days are 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday with a 12.30pm finish on a Friday. Once you've completed a three-month probationary period, you will have the opportunity to move onto a permanent morning, afternoon, or rotating 6:2/2:10 shift pattern.
The starting rate of pay will be around £12.50 per hour, increasing up to £15.60 per hour once you move onto a shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, or rotating shifts).
The company offers a £2,000 signing bonus (staggered payment) and regular overtime opportunities paid at time and a third after 39 hours, and time and a half after 48 hours.
What You Will Do
* Operate spot weld machinery to produce customer parts for the robot weld section.
* Work across various shifts to ensure operational efficiency after training.
* Utilise a crane to handle materials (licence desirable but not mandatory).
* Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards.
* Contribute to the team’s efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Be available for overtime work, offering an attractive overtime rate.

* Ability to operate machinery and equipment related to spot welding.
