GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to work with schools in Rotherham, including the S65 and S66 areas, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography. As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that encourage critical thinking, map skills, and real-world awareness, while fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Main Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach topics covering physical and human geography, fieldwork, and environmental issues. Encourage critical thinking, research skills, and independent learning. Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
