Art Teacher needed for an SEN School in Southall
TLTP are recruiting for an Art Teacher to teach students with autism in a specialist school in Southall.
This specialist school is for students aged 4-22. Situated in Southall, West London, it is a special school catering for autism and/or other additional needs.
To apply you will need to have QTS and some SEN experience ideally:
* The teacher will be responsible for the progress of all pupils in their specialism.
* The teacher will coordinate the work of a team of SEN TAs and provide direct teaching to meet the needs of the class groups and pupils.
* Adopt a holistic approach to pupils, using a range of social care and teaching strategies to meet their needs, while promoting interest and ensuring safety and well-being.
* Deliver pupil-focused and creative lessons according to an agreed timetable.
Teachers must have:
* Commitment to the development of both yourself and the pupils.
* QTS qualification.
* Ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience of leading in your subject area with clear strategies to achieve exceptional progress.
* Ambition to help pupils fulfill their potential with high expectations.
* A calm demeanor and the ability to maintain a sense of humor under pressure.
* A commitment to safeguarding children.
