Purpose of the role:
· To be an ambassador for the hotel and the first point of contact for all guests
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
· To create an excellent first and lasting impression for our guests
· To create a positive, energetic, standards driven, results focused working environment
· To ensure all hotel standards are consistently delivered and guest expectations exceeded
· To ensure all departmental standard operating procedures are adhered to
· To complete reception shift checklist
· To ensure cashing & balancing of the shift is correct
· To check in /check out all guests in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures
· To take bookings for room and restaurant reservations
· To ensure the reception desks and work spaces are kept neat and tidy at all times
· To ensure an accurate handover is given between shifts
· To ensure all billing is accurate and all revenue is captured
Key Requirements Proactive approach / Attention to detail / Demonstrate Initiative / Absolute professionalism at all times / High standard of personal grooming
Education GSCE level preferred
Skills and Experience Customer Service experience / Basic IT skills
