Territory Sales Support Manager – South Island, New Zealand
Our Oceania regional team is seeking a Territory Sales Support Manager. The primary focus is to support growth in sales through our Business Partners and to take a leading position within the Territory for Nedap cow identification, milking and monitoring solutions. You will develop local Business Partner and farmer relationships to aid the sale of Nedap products within the Territory and manage the customer relationship through system installation and commissioning with a focus on driving positive customer value and experience.
You will act as the link between the Territory, the Region and Head Office. You will work closely with the General Manager and Account Management team to execute our account strategies across your Territory to support Business Partners in growing sales. You will collaborate with local Application Support teams to ensure a quality customer experience. This is an entrepreneurial and commercial role to grow sales, establish genuine relationships with Business Partners, and forge new connections to grow the business.
Responsibilities
* Implement and execute the sales plan for the Territory in conjunction with the General Manager
* Customer relationship management through system installation and commissioning with a focus on driving positive customer value and experience
* Act as a resource for local Business Partners
* Collaborate with and contribute as a member of the Regional & Global Sales team
* Build and leverage long-term relationships with Regional Application Support teams
* Research and stay abreast of emerging trends to recommend new solutions tied to end-user requirements
* Build solid relationships with Business Partners and key external and internal stakeholders
Your team
You will be part of a passionate, motivated and professional global team contributing to our strategy to be a market leader in SmartTag and Milking Automation/RFID Solutions within the dairy industry. You will work with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Product Development and your Regional team. The Territory Sales Support Manager reports to the General Manager Oceania.

Required experience and skills
This opportunity is ideal for someone with prior (dairy) industry & AgriTech experience and a proven track record of building strong, sustainable relationships. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with eagerness to support the Livestock Industry with state-of-the-art solutions.
* Bachelor degree in a relevant field
* Several years of relevant experience in Sales or Business Development
* Background/knowledge of the dairy industry, commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
* Proven ability to develop effective relationships externally and internally at various levels
* Independent thinker with a proactive approach
* Strong sense of responsibility and ability to cope with rapid changes in direction
* Trustworthy with strong business integrity
* Good written and spoken English
* Willingness to travel overnight approximately 40% to 50% of the time, including some weekends
Preference: Resident in the Canterbury or Southland region, South Island, New Zealand.
