Job Description & Person Specification Job Title Senior Manufacturing Engineer Reporting To Engineering Manager Job Purpose Responsible for driving through new product & programme introduction and operational improvements through method & manufacturing improvement's to deliver continual business performance. Key Role Accountabilities · Ensure that continuous improvement is driven through the business & that this becomes embedded as part of the day to day culture · Ability to embed any new method of manufacturing to deliver sustainable benefit to the business · Establish and maintain system policies associated with lead times for product · Ensure WIP is managed to meet all business requirements · Support manufacturing activities both internally & externally · Focal point for ensuring production & new product is completed as required · Participate & lead lean initiatives · Support inventory policies to include, FIFO inventory, returnable containers, WIP reduction · Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, ensuring guidelines are followed in accordance with the Company Health & Safety policy and legislative requirements. · Work in accordance with the company's policies and goals in order to ensure achievement of company goals and objectives. · Any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Company from time to ti...
