SEN Teaching Assistant\n\nContract Type: Part Time, Temporary\nStart Date: 01/09/2025\nLocation: Brent\nSalary: £90 - £100\nHours of Work: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Term Time Only)\n\nAbout the Role\nAre you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? Teach Now is delighted to be recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Brent, starting in September 2025.\n\nThis part-time, flexible role is ideal for individuals with a background in supporting students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or challenging behaviours.
Working in 1:1 settings or with small groups, you’ll play a key role in helping students access the curriculum, develop confidence, and reach their full potential both academically and emotionally.\n\nYour day-to-day will involve:\n• Supporting learners with additional needs in the classroom\n• Assisting in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities\n• Providing emotional regulation support and building positive relationships\n• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure student progress\n• Promoting inclusion and positive behaviour in line with school values\n\nAbout the School\nThis secondary school in Brent is well-known for its commitment to inclusive education, with a strong and supportive SEN department.
