Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join this all female team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our client with a neurological disorder who lives a very independent life. The role is working on a 1;1 basis supporting out client with all aspect of day to day living in their own home. The role is working an average of 18 hours per week, on a rolling 2 week rota;
Week1: Tuesday night (8pm-8am), Thursday day (8am-8pm)
Week 2: Saturday day (8am-8pm)
Full UK Driving Licence is essential to the role.
Responsibilities
* Assist the client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, domestic duties and medication administration.
* Support the client with fulfilling their social activities
* Maintain accurate records and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Flexibility to provide cover when needed.
Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Familiarity with care plans, and medication administration is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, and team members.
* A compassionate approach to care with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
