We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive Medical Receptionist to become part of our friendly and dedicated team.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, and enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment. While previous experience in a GP practice is desirable, it is not essential comprehensive training will be provided.
We are looking for someone who is reliable and fully flexible, with the ability to provide cover for holidays and sickness as needed.
Main duties of the job
The Medical Receptionist position is a key front-line role and requires someone who is confident, highly organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner are essential.
The successful candidate must be computer literate and demonstrate a flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities, including providing cover for colleagues during periods of absence.

Salters Medical Practice is a well-established training practice serving approximately 8,800 patients. Our clinical team includes four GP Partners, a Clinical Pharmacist Partner, two Salaried GPs, and GP trainees. We also regularly host medical students, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
