Salary: £75,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in AWS infrastructure design, deployment and system administration. Broad understanding of Microsoft hybrid cloud infrastructures with a good working knowledge of on-premise infrastructure. Networking skills (switching, load balancing, and firewalls). Experience working with commercially focused software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving skills; effective working independently and within teams. Experience managing complex projects. Highly proficient in at least two of the following technologies: - Docker (AWS ECS) - Terraform, Ansible, or CDK - AWS IaaS (EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway) - CloudFlare - Windows Server (IIS) - Linux Responsibilities: Manage and support hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments. Optimise systems for performance, scalability, security, and cost. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps practices and automation. Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. Maintain clear documentation and continuously improve processes.
