Your New JobWe are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to join the team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to be permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs. You’ll work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.Key responsibilities include:
1. Planning and delivering differentiated lessons across core subjects
2. Managing behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies
3. Working collaboratively with the wider team to support EHCP targets
4. Maintaining accurate records and contributing to review meetings
What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will need:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
6. Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly SEMH
7. Strong classroom management skills and a calm, empathetic approach
8. Amitment to inclusive education and personalised learning
9. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
