Join us as a Specialist Occupational Therapist in the Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services (ADRS) under NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This full‑time Band 6 role is 37 hours per week (Mon‑Fri) with a planned reduction to 36 hours per week from April 2026.
About the Service
The Glasgow ADRS Occupational Therapy service delivers skilled interventions to individuals with substance misuse and mental health difficulties across Glasgow City HSCP.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver client‑centred occupational therapy interventions as an independent practitioner.
* Manage a clinical caseload and maintain high standards of care.
* Lead service development and supervise junior staff and students.
* Collaborate across the citywide team to provide integrated care.
Qualifications and Experience
* BSc (or equivalent) Occupational Therapy (minimum).
* Current HCPC registration and meet all UK OT practice requirements.
* Relevant or transferrable practice experience in substance misuse or mental health settings.
