Overview
The L&D Manager will play a crucial role in designing and implementing learning and development strategies to support the growth of employees. This position, based in Medway and requires somebody with a strong Senior L&D Background.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies for all levels of employees.
* Identify training needs through collaboration with department heads and managers.
* Design and deliver engaging training programmes, workshops, and e-learning modules.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make improvements as required.
* Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
* Support succession planning by identifying and nurturing high-potential employees.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all training activities.
* Collaborate with external training providers where necessary to meet organisational needs.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a learning and development role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
* Ability to align training strategies with organisational goals.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant tools.
* Experience in managing budgets and vendor relationships.
* A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
