As the HSE Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for shaping and presenting the Group’s Health & Safety data, maintaining oversight of its accuracy, and supporting the delivery of performance reporting and improvement projects. You’ll play a vital role in helping us proactively manage safety across the Travis Perkins Group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regularly review and analyse HSE data, identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Provide insights and supporting data for Group and Business Unit (BU) improvement projects and serious incident investigations.
3. Maintain data accuracy within the incident reporting system and support regulatory reporting compliance.
4. Act as gatekeeper for data quality, supporting the HSE Leadership Team in holding BUs and Advisors accountable.
5. Prepare monthly GLT and PLC safety reports and coordinate BU Safety Performance Update Packs.
6. Manage the Notify platform (incident & assurance system), resolve bugs, and work with suppliers to drive improvements.
7. Monitor the Stay Safe inbox and escalate relevant queries.
8. Support frontline HSE activities by triaging incidents, setting up investigations, and assisting with CCTV retrieval.
9. Provide cover for HSE frontline teams during periods of leave, helping manage assurance targets.
10. Coordinate wider HSE team activities and complete administrative tasks as required.
11. Maintain professional competence by supporting branch reviews and staying current with HSE procedures.
You’ll also have:
12. NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
13. Strong data management, data mining, and reporting skills.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Advanced Excel skills; Google Suite knowledge preferred.
16. Experience or strong interest in Health and Safety matters.
17. Understanding of GDPR protocols and supplier management.
18. Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
