Security Officer - Full Time Location: Stoke on Trent Pay Rate: £12.89 per hour Shift Pattern: days /nights/weekends Job Description We are seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team. This is a full-time position, offering stability, ongoing support, and opportunities for development within a leading security company. As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the site, staff, and visitors. You'll provide a visible presence, carry out regular patrols, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a visible and reassuring security presence
* Ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property
* Conduct regular patrols and site inspections
* Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms
* Control access and manage visitors on site
* Write clear and accurate incident and daily reports
Requirements
* Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently
* Flexible and reliable - able to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
* IT literate (IT test will be required)
* Professional, punctual, and customer-focused
* Shift pattern to be discussed
