Your main duties will include: Carrying out grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, litter picking, and clearing of paths according to schedules and required standards. Conducting play area inspections and undertaking minor repairs. Performing seasonal maintenance of flower beds, shrub beds, and gardens of remembrance in cemeteries, including maintenance, clearance, litter picking, and bin emptying. Engaging in planting, weeding, digging, hoeing, and watering of flower planters and formal displays as necessary. Assisting in the eradication of invasive plants and weeds, and managing encroaching grass and vegetation from pathways and roads. Undertaking prestart checks on vans, plant, and other vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, ensuring compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations and completing daily defect sheets.
