Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Contract) Location: Peterborough Industry: Construction Materials Manufacturing Rate: £35.00 – £37.00 p/h (Outside IR35) Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days (6:00am – 6:00pm) We’re looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role with a strong electrical bias, supporting production through a mix of reactive and planned maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs Support reactive breakdowns and PPM activities Work on 3-phase systems, motors, inverters, and control panels Assist with electrical installations and modifications Help improve machine reliability and efficiency Requirements: Level 3 engineering qualification Strong electrical fault-finding skills (PLC knowledge beneficial but not essential) Experience working with 3-phase systems, drives, motors, and control equipment Ability to read and work from electrical drawings Heavy industry background (beneficial) Benefits: 4 on 4 off Immediate Start Outside IR35 contract 3 month rolling with likelihood to extend I am looking to speak to talented Electrical Maintenance Engineers who are looking for a rewarding and highly challenging position.
