Finance Ops Controller

We are offering a wonderful opportunity to join our Finance department as anFinance Ops Controllerhere at Shangri-La The Shard, London. OurFinance Ops Controller is responsible for costing, monitoring of all food, beverage and general Stocks to provide accurate and timely cost figures for operations. Provide management with operational analysis to assist business decisions, including productivity reports.
Is also responsible for the reconciliation of inventory holdings and costs of sales reported, and provide system support to Adaco users throughout the business. Lead and develop the Cost Control function, and provide support to colleagues in the Finance, Purchasing and Operational team. Act as trusted business partner to support senior management with month end P&L reviews, variance analysis, commentary, and control of forecast costs. Support Assistant Director of Finance with preparation of annual budgets and other ad hoc projects.
Whowe're looking for?
We are looking for an experienced cost controller who is looking to study an accounting qualification to progress in to a core finance role over time.
Someone with a pleasant and welcoming manner
Desire to study towards an accounting qualification -ACCA or CIMA
Experience in luxury, 5-Star hospitality
Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability
Oral and written professional fluency in English
Confidence in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment
.Right to work in the United Kingdom
Knowledge of OPERA, Infrasys, Sun System, Excel and Adaco.
.Support with month end tasks, journals and closing within deadlines.
