Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance EngineerLocation-WrexhamSalary- £52,500 + BenefitsShifts- 4 on 4off (2d2/n)The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and highly invested manufacturing site in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, automated environment with significant ongoing investment in machinery, technology, and site improvements.You'll be working with advanced manufacturing systems including robotics, automated production lines, and end-of-line packaging machinery. The business prides itself on maintaining high engineering standards and offers long-term stability with opportunities to develop your technical skills.This company are willing to put you through external courses I have successfully placed an engineer in this business and they're funding his NVQ 3 In Electrical EngineeringThe RoleAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment runs efficiently and reliably.Key responsibilities include:Planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipmentFault finding on mechanical and/or electrical systemsWorking on robotics, automated machinery, and end-of-line packaging equipmentSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across the siteEnsuring minimal downtime and maintaining production efficiencyWorking collaboratively with production and engineering teamsRequirementsTo be considered for this role, you should have:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related disciplineA strong track record within a manufacturing or automated production environmentExperience with automated machinery, robotics, or packaging equipment (desirable)Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilitiesA proactive, hard-working attitude and good reliabilityWhat's on Offer23 shift holiday daysModern manufacturing facility with significant investment in automation and machineryStable and growing business with long-term opportunitiesATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
