Maintenance Engineer
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Salary & Benefits: Up to £40,000 per annum, excellent package

They are now looking to appoint a driven Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their engineering function and play a key role in keeping production running smoothly.

What you'll be doing
* Diagnosing and repairing faults across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Delivering planned preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and extend equipment life
* Monitoring machine performance, keeping accurate records, and reporting to management
* Supporting the installation of new machinery and upgrades to existing systems
* Working closely with production teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and implement solutions
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
* Driving continuous improvement to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance reliability
What we're looking for
* A methodical problem solver with a hands-on approach and strong fault-finding ability
* Someone with a positive, "can-do" attitude who thrives in a team environment
* A background in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical engineering, apprenticeship or similar
* PC literacy, the ability to read technical drawings, and confidence working safely around high-voltage equipment
* PLC experience is a bonus, but not essential; training can be provided
