We’re Hiring: Care Monitoring Officer Location: St Albans Hours: Full Time Salary: £24,093 Join a Team That’s Committed to Quality Care Are you passionate about delivering outstanding care and ensuring services meet the highest standards? We’re looking for a Care Monitoring Officer to help us uphold exceptional levels of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. As a vital member of our Quality & Compliance team, you’ll play a key role in monitoring service delivery, responding to concerns and complaints, supporting our front-line staff, and helping ensure we meet all regulatory and internal standards. What You’ll Do Monitor and ensure compliance with CQC, Local Authority, ICB and BSI standards. Allocate and track compliance tasks including audits, appraisals, supervisions, reviews, and assessments. Respond to complaints efficiently, guiding the resolution process from start to finish. Support inspections and audits by maintaining clear, well-organized records. Conduct quality checks on care plans and provide constructive feedback. Prepare clear and concise weekly and monthly reports on compliance performance. Collect and analyse feedback from service users through regular monitoring visits. Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes of complaints and highlighting best practices. ✅ What You’ll Need Previous experience in a similar compliance, quality, or monitoring role (preferably within domiciliary or home care). Strong understanding of CQC regulations and care standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A methodical and organised approach with keen attention to detail. The ability to work with care teams, senior leaders, and external bodies. Strong report writing and data collection skills. Passion for delivering high standards and putting service users at the centre of everything you do.
