Elevation Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established and expanding Sheffield-based machine shop as they continue their growth and investment in new machinery. Due to increased demand, we are looking to recruit four skilled CNC Millers to join their experienced team.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable, long-term role offering £38,933 per year inclusive of overtime, structured shifts and a well-equipped manufacturing environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines with Haas controls, producing precision components to tight tolerances and high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting and operating CNC milling machines (Haas control)
* Editing and adjusting programs at the machine
* Working from engineering drawings
* Inspecting parts using measuring equipment
* Maintaining quality and productivity targets
* Supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor
Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly)
* Days: Monday–Friday, 38 hours
* Nights: Monday–Thursday, 4 x 12 hour shifts
* Includes 8 hours overtime across the week
What We're Looking For
* Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
* Haas control experience essential
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality
* Previous experience within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
