Location: West Midlands & Midlands
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + (based on experience) + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning and Refrigeration PPM Engineer to join our growing team. This role is primarily focused on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works, with a strong emphasis on refrigeration systems across a variety of commercial and industrial sites within the West Midlands and broader Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out scheduled PPM servicing and inspections on a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

Diagnose, identify, and rectify any faults found during routine maintenance.
*
Ensure all maintenance is carried out in accordance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and company procedures.
*
Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
*
Liaise with customers and site contacts to ensure clear communication of work carried out and any recommendations.
Key Equipment Worked On May Include:
*
Commercial refrigeration systems (cold rooms, display fridges, freezers)
*
Split A/C units and VRV/VRF systems
*
Walk-in chillers and freezer rooms
Skills & Experience Required:
*
Proven experience in refrigeration engineering, ideally within commercial or retail environments
*
Strong knowledge of PPM practices and refrigeration systems
*
FGAS Category 1 qualified (essential)
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Good communication and customer service skills
*
Ability to work independently and manage own workload
*
Right to work in the UK
