Job Description
Challenge, support, and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum. Assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update before any formal offer of employment can be made. PVG records are constantly updated, and any relevant information will be discussed prior to employment.
Responsibilities
We follow the national guidance on pre-employment checks, including providing at least two appropriate references, one from your current or most recent employer, with the current employer's reference from an appropriate senior manager.
The Individual
This is a temporary full-time position until 28th June 2026, based at Kilmarnock Academy (William McIlvanney Campus). The hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday.
