Do you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and helping businesses succeed? We’re looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join our friendly and well-known accountancy team in Chelmsford.
In this role, you’ll work with a variety of businesses – from small local companies to larger organisations – helping them with their audits and accounts. You’ll be trusted to lead projects, guide junior staff, and talk directly with clients to make sure they get the best service.
What you’ll do:
Lead audits at client offices, making sure everything is accurate and on time.
Prepare company accounts in line with the rules.
Check and review the work of junior team members.
Answer client questions and give helpful advice.
Support and guide junior colleagues so they can grow.
What we’re looking for:
ACA or ACCA qualified (or working towards it).
Experience in audit and accounts at a UK accountancy firm.
Good communication skills and a friendly approach.
Able to stay organised and meet deadlines.
Interested in how businesses work and grow.
