This well established firm of Solicitors based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, are looking to recruit a Accounts Assistant. The company are looking for a candidate with previous accounts or banking experience. Key responsibilities: 1) Bought and sales ledger experience. 2) Using a case management system to process cases. 3) Excellent working experience within a fast and busy accounts department. 4) Ensure that all payments such as BACS, Bank Transfers, Faster Payments and cheques are set up correctly and the Client Account is never allowed to overdraw, this includes setting up payments on the bank. 5) To create bills and statements for clients. 6) To ensure that all authorised invoices are dealt with in a timely manner. 7) Providing general administration and organisation of paperwork to support conveyancing transactions. 8) To manage own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision. 9) Be self motivated and able to multi task.
