Role Overview
The position offers exposure to all stages of cost management and project delivery within a structured, professional environment. Working alongside experienced surveyors, you will support cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and post-contract duties across a range of projects. The role provides direct mentorship and full APC support toward RICS chartership.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and elemental cost plans
* Support tender preparation, analysis, and reporting
* Contribute to contract administration, interim valuations, and final accounts
* Attend client and site meetings under supervision
* Maintain project documentation and assist with cost reporting
* Work proactively towards APC submission and RICS qualification
Essential Requirements
* BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* Experience working in a PQS environment
* Strong analytical and numerical ability
* Clear written and verbal communication
* Motivated, detail-focused, and committed to professional growth
* Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements
* Prior internship or work experience in a consultancy or construction setting
* Familiarity with CostX, Bluebeam, or MS Excel
* Awareness of procurement routes and current construction methodologies
* Clear ambition to achieve chartered status with RICS or CIOB
