We are currently seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly specialist SEN school in Poole. This welcoming and well-resourced setting supports pupils aged 5–16 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), offering a nurturing and structured environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
About the Role:
* Supporting students with complex learning needs, including PMLD
* Assisting with personal care as part of daily routines
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
* Helping to deliver engaging, sensory-based learning activities
* Promoting independence, communication, and emotional wellbeing
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with SEN (school-based, care sector, or similar transferable background)
* Personal care experience is essential
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* A genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
