Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis for a manufacturing business based near Merthyr Tydfil
The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for:
1. Preparation of annual standard costs and reconciliation to budget
2. Maintenance and creation of all standard costs
3. Preparation of costing quotes for intercompany and external customers
4. Inventory control - valuation, excess and obsolete reserves, annual stock count
5. Month end and year end close - sales, material costs and inventory
6. Analysis and reporting of sales and material price variances
7. Reconciliation and control of related balance sheet accounts
8. Weekly P&L forecasts
9. Preparation of sales and cost of sales forecasts
10. Annual budgeting activities
11. Intercompany transfer pricing in accordance with corporate policies
12. Identification and reporting of loss makers
13. ONS reporting, ad hoc reporting and other duties as requested by management
14. Act as a finance business partner to non-finance departments
15. Key point of contact for external auditors
16. Supervision of accounts assistant responsible for sales ledger, credit control and costing
EXPERIENCE
17. Ideally minimum of 3 years post qualification (CIMA/ ACCA / ACA) experience in a manufacturing environment with an international company.
ON OFFER:
Salary of up to £70,000 plus a generous pension and hybrid working
