Experienced Secondary SEND Learning Support Assistant - Witney Monarch Education is looking for a skilled and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a secondary school in Witney, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and other additional needs. Key Responsibilities: *Deliver targeted support to students with SEND, both in and out of the classroom. *Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement and review individual education plans (IEPs), SEND Support Plans or Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). *Use your experience to adapt strategies and resources to meet a range of learning and behavioural needs. *Support students in developing emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction skills. *Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture that celebrates diversity and promotes resilience. Person Specification: *Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role in a secondary or SEND setting. *Strong understanding of ASC, ADHD, and associated conditions. *Confident in using a range of behaviour management and communication strategies. *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff. *Experience with alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS, sign language) is advantageous. *A proactive, reflective, and flexible approach to supporting students with complex needs. *A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.
