Job Role: Painter & Decorator
Location: HMP Standford Hill
Salary: £27,945.35
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 39hrs per week
Please note: Start date for this position will be in December 2025.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Standford Hill, a CATEGORY D & Adult Male prison. As a Painter & Decorator you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues ranging from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners and Administrators, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference by providing a safe and secure environment for all.

Requirements / Qualifications
* A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
* Experience working in a maintenance team
* An honest and reliable character, who can approach work with a sense of purpose and pace
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
