Overview
As a Maintenance Planner at Taiko Foods, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the maintenance schedules for all production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Coordinate with the maintenance team to plan preventive maintenance, track tasks, and manage spare parts inventory. Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimise downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
* Create detailed maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
* Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimise disruptions.
* Schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring availability of required materials, tools, and personnel.
* Coordinate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other departments to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
* Arrange for external contractors or service providers when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory.
* Ensure that all necessary spare parts and materials are available for scheduled maintenance tasks.
* Order and manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
* Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance performance, including KPIs.
* Document and update maintenance procedures and instructions.
* Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and procedures.
* Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
* Conduct safety inspections and audits of maintenance activities and equipment.
* Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
Education and Experience
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Skills and Competencies
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
