English Teacher
Humly is recruiting an English Teacher to join a specialist school on a temporary basis.
This is a full‑time role starting after May half term and continuing for half a term initially, with the potential to continue beyond this. The role would suit a confident and adaptable teacher with either Primary QTS or Secondary QTS who is comfortable delivering English to pupils with varying abilities within a specialist setting. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons, adapting learning to meet individual needs, and supporting pupils to make meaningful progress.
What You'll Be Doing
* Planning and delivering engaging English lessons tailored to pupils of varying ability
* Adapting teaching strategies to meet a range of additional learning needs
* Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
* Creating a supportive and structured classroom environment
* Collaborating with support staff to ensure effective differentiation and inclusion
* Encouraging confidence, creativity and a positive attitude towards English
What You'll Bring

Pay
Non-AWR: £140 - £165 per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.80 - £232.57 per day (M1 - M6)
