New opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior to join this well-liked and respected firm of Accountants & Advisors in Edinburgh. This role includes client portfolio management responsibilities and offers flexible, hybrid working within a supportive team environment.
This is a varied and rewarding role providing exceptional service to a wide range of small to medium sized client businesses and their owners. You will have responsibilities for your own varied portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact for any queries and advice. As such, you will enjoy building and maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a trusted business advisor. You will prepare full statutory accounts, and review bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts prepared by junior members of the team. In addition, you will support senior management with the operational success of the team and provide occasional training and supporting to trainees within the wider business support team.
This team are sociable and enthusiastic about charitable activities and fundraising outside of work. They have regular social events and enjoy working in a flexible, hybrid working pattern with 35 hours worked over 4 days. Onsite parking and assisted travel schemes are also available.
To be considered for this role you must be CA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with demonstrable recent experienced within a UK Accountancy practice. Experience of preparing statutory accounts is essential for this role. Experience of Sage and Xero accounting packages would be beneficial. You will be an excellent communicator and successful team player, with developed client relationship management skills.
