Essential Knowledge and Experience of working with people who have Severe Learning Disabilities and Autism Experience of working with people who have complex and challenging behaviours and be prepared to undertake ongoing training First Aid & Epilepsy knowledge (training available) and to be attentive and alert at all times regarding clients safety To be able to engage and encourage client at every opportunity To hold a Clean Full Driving Licence To respect clients dignity at all times Must be able to work as part of a team and report regularly to a Team leader To have High standards of Hygiene Desirable Physically active and have a good sense of humour Basic food preparation & cooking skills Be able to complete everyday chores Be willing to attend further training if required Summary terms and conditions · The rate of pay for this position is £11 per night hour (10pm - 8am), £13 per hour (8am - 10pm).· You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role, including mileage at 45p per mile. · Hours and times of work as follows: As agreed A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
