Catholic Cathedral College Canterbury
Religious Education Teacher (Special Character)
We are seeking a Religious Education teacher to join our kura in a permanent position from term 4 2025, or earlier by mutual agreement. Catholic Cathedral College is a special character, co-educational College with over 500 students, centrally located on the historic site where Catholicism in Christchurch began and is immediately adjacent to the original site of the Catholic Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on Barbadoes Street. We are a culturally diverse, whānau-focused school and follow the charisms of our founding orders To Live by Faith. We are a successful and progressive school, culturally diverse and whānau-focused. Our goal is to ensure a high-quality Catholic education is available for all, regardless of race, gender, identity, economic or cultural background. We follow the charisms of both Marcellin Champagnat and the Mission Sisters. We recognise the unique position of Māori as tangata whenua and ensure our policy statements and actions promote the intentions of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
