Overview
Locations: Birmingham, London, Belfast, Bristol or Manchester. Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, two days working from home.
The Ethics team plays a vital role in ensuring that everyone across the Group understands and consistently acts in line with our Code, values, and policies. By doing so, we help protect individuals, foster trust, and support the Group’s overarching purpose of ‘Connecting everyone for good’. A key element is building awareness and understanding of what ‘doing the right thing’ looks like through targeted learning and engagement initiatives. This role is instrumental in enhancing and sustaining that awareness across the Group, helping ensure our people uphold our Code and policies in everything they do.
Responsibilities
* Accountable owner for our Code mandatory learning courses across BT, including collaborating with relevant learning teams and key Subject Matter Experts to ensure creation, updates, testing, delivery and annual evaluation.
* Accountable for audience-focused communications campaigns that build awareness and knowledge about our Code, working with relevant communications teams and SMEs to design, deliver and evaluate.
* Accountable owner for the Ethics team published digital information (e.g., Code intranet site and Code external site).
* Maintain relationships with SME teams to enable sharing of communications and learning plans for the year to ensure collaboration, unified messaging and reduced duplication.
* Ensure information and data for audit and reporting purposes is well controlled and accessible when needed.
* Participate in external engagement activities to promote BT Group’s work and keep up to date with external best practice.
* Occasionally support Speak Up cases and investigations, from triage to case conclusion, flagging risks to ensure timely outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
* Essential: at least 3 years of experience in communications, learning or an equivalent role.
* Essential: demonstrable stakeholder management experience.
* Desirable: strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint intranet editing.
* Desirable: experience/knowledge of behavioral science.
* Desirable: experience within an operational team subject to ethics, compliance or risk requirements.
