Job Summary

At Mott MacDonald we offer an industrial placement programme designed for curious and proactive students ready to explore, grow, and make a meaningful impact. The programme lasts 10‑12 months and the closing date is 31st December 2025. Participants will be expected to contribute to real projects across a range of sectors, gaining hands‑on experience that aligns with their studies and future career goals.


What You Can Expect

Our placements are unique to your interests and academic background. You will work alongside graduates, experienced professionals, and fellow students in an inclusive culture that encourages ownership of your journey. Opportunities are available in Buildings, Energy, Transport and Water & Environment sectors.


Candidate Specification

* Currently enrolled on a university degree course (or graduating in 2026 with no plans to enrol in a further course).
* Proactively takes initiative to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
* Communicates effectively and clearly with clients and colleagues.
* Delivers high‑quality written work with strong attention to detail and clarity.
* Demonstrates a structured and analytical approach to problem solving.
